Technical consultancy on research on selected topics related to home improvement solutions

AHI presented a white paper overviewing home improvement programs in Global North and South countries originating from public, private, and humanitarian sectors. Programs have been selected to illustrate the different forms home improvement programs can take as well as the variety of objectives that they can support, from health to the environment. Through this work, AHI developed program profiles of 15 best practice home improvement programs and post-disaster, refugee, and migrant housing responses from around the world. The team identified common frameworks within programs, repackaged them as best policy practices, and analyzed program impact on interconnected sectors (i.e., environment, gender equality, etc.). All research and analysis were compiled and delivered to the World Bank as a white paper.
