Social rent-to-own housing program reform for the Maldives

As per the request of the GoM, the World Bank aims to provide technical assistance to the MNPHI to reform the Rent-to-Own social housing program. The objective is to ensure the program’s long-term sustainability, both fiscally and operationally, while minimizing housing insecurity for current residents. AHI designed a reform scenario and drafted a policy paper with context assessment, reform scenario, and roadmap for implementation.
