Development of a Climate-Smart Housing Improvement Framework

AHI, in partnership with Build Change, was contracted by the World Bank to develop a Climate-Smart Housing Improvement Framework in Colombia. This initiative focuses on integrating climate-smart measures in housing improvement to enhance resilience and sustainability in the housing sector. The project is designed to address the challenges posed by climate change, improve energy efficiency, and promote disaster resilience in the housing sector, particularly for vulnerable and low-income communities. The consultancy includes conducting a climate assessment, reviewing international case studies, and creating guidelines for the implementation of climate-smart housing solutions. The collaboration with the World Bank and the Ministry of Housing ensures alignment with national climate goals and international standards.
