Charlestown Resident Alliance Strategic Planning and Technical Assistance

Since 2017, AHI has been the financial and housing advisor to the Charlestown Residents Alliance (CRA), a local tenant organization representing the 1,110 households living at the Bunker Hill public housing development in Boston. The property is in the process of being comprehensively redeveloped into approximately 2,700 brand-new apartments, preserving 100% of the 1,110 affordable units at the same rent. AHI is providing technical and administrative support to the CRA as they navigate through the public hearing and approval process phase of the redevelopment.

The second building in the $1.4 billion overhaul will break ground this spring after the project closed in April 2026.
