Leah Redding is a graduate student in the Master of Urban Planning / Master of Public Administration program at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, with a concentration in GIS. She also currently interns for the City of Milwaukee, Department of City Development – Planning Division, assisting long range planners in public engagement, mapping, and data analysis. Leah grew up in the City of Milwaukee and attended Milwaukee Public Schools. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a degree in political science and environmental studies, Leah moved back to Milwaukee to work in local government as an Emergency Management Coordinator, before starting graduate school. Her interests are in community development, affordable housing, and structural and place-based inequality.
