AHI served as the primary technical advisor to Merit Consulting and assisted on the development of a strategy for the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA). ADHA was established as the government housing arm of the Abu Dhabi government in delivering affordable housing in scale to Emirati citizens. AHI and Merit’s work focused on helping ADHA to shape its policies and programs to become a market facilitator of affordable housing production. In doing such work, AHI led the development of a value chain that maps the current housing system. AHI undertook the following main activities among others: (i) developed operational models and specific housing programs, (ii) advised on a customer service strategy, and (iii) developed business strategy options for the overall housing sector and a set of policy agenda for the housing sector.
